The set Foundation is supporting the EUSAAT Congress 2027 by offering sponsorship awards for early-career researchers
The set Foundation is continuing its commitment to supporting young scientists at the EUSAAT Congress 2027. Through its support for the Young Scientists Travel Awards (YSTA) and the Foundation set Talk Awards, the Foundation helps to provide promising early-career researchers with a platform to present their scientific work and to foster their international networking.
The Young Scientists Travel Awards enable selected early-career researchers to attend the EUSAAT Congress. This gives them the opportunity to present their research findings to an international audience of specialists, forge valuable contacts and exchange ideas with experts from academia, industry and regulatory bodies. The funding is intended to facilitate access for young talent to one of the most important European congresses in the field of the 3Rs, New Approach Methodologies (NAMs) and innovative alternative methods.
A particular highlight of the congress is the Foundation SET Talk Awards, sponsored by the set Foundation. These awards are presented to the best scientific presentations by the Young Scientists Travel Awardees and recognise both the scientific quality and the presentation skills of these early-career researchers. The awards offer the young scientists additional visibility and underline the importance of their contributions to the further development of modern, human-relevant research and testing methods.
Through its commitment, the set Foundation aims to specifically strengthen the next generation of researchers and promote innovative scientific approaches that contribute to the reduction and replacement of animal testing. The support for the Young Scientists Travel Awards and the Foundation SET Talk Awards reflects the Foundation’s long-standing aim of raising the profile of excellent research, promoting the international exchange of knowledge and supporting young talent on their scientific career paths.
We look forward to supporting outstanding early-career scientists at the EUSAAT Congress 2027 and recognising their innovative research achievements.
